[Lym went to school, she wasn't impressed with it, but she went, but when she saw the odd plants on the way home and one seemed to eat her in her own back yard she had no clue that her exact double came out, just her double had something red and vaguely sun shaped on her head pulsating magic power. Luckily it was only a copy, but still a copy of that is scary enough.]

[See Lym. See Lym out on a walk. See Lym letting loose at a drone who didn't bow to her with a torrent of lasers.]

Honestly there's a me that still is terrified of taking her right as a goddess, but I dealt with her. I know you would never do that, you will marry my brother and make it so I don't need to marry.

[Lyon considers this very carefully, hand still resting on her sword. Eventually, she relents, slowly moving back to a neutral posture.]

...All right. Let's go see the Prince, then. He'll want to hear about this, too.

You may be right. From what I've heard, only something like the Sun Rune could hope to match his power. As much as I hate to admit it, I don't think I'd be able to protect you from him if it came to blows. But maybe if I were to hide nearby, we could take him by surprise.

[Lyon follows along behind Lym, her hand grimly moving toward her sword again. If everything goes well, once they reach the Prince's doorstep, she'll be able to pommel strike the little fake princess on the back of the head and knock her out with one swift blow. She'll decide what to do with her after that, and hopefully once she's managed to locate the real one. This is something Lyon would never have had the heart to even contemplate when first arriving in Mayfield, but there's something about this town that has a way of changing people the longer they're here.]

[Lym walks up the stairs, waves her hand and starts to move to blast the door off its foundations, not suspecting a thing out of Lyon]

[Just before the rune activates, Lyon strikes. Hopefully not hard enough to kill this Lym outright, but definitely hard enough to cause sufficient head trauma to knock her out for a bit while she figures out what to do.]

[There is a thump, and the sound of an 12 year old girl falling to the pavement unconscious.]

[Lyon mutely scoops up Lym's unconscious body, carrying her back to their own house. She heads upstairs and places her in the bed while she decides what to do next. Unfortunately, at this point, she doesn't even know there's a pod to find, but she can at least look for where this impostor has stashed the real Princess.]

[Lym's pod is stuffed in the back yard, behind the shed. Her impostor didn't really think that anyone would defy her orders enough to even look for it so its not hidden all that well]

[Lyon cautiously prods it with her sword before carefully slicing it open.]

[Inside is another unconscious Lym, this one is just covered in slimy green goo and has no sun rune]

[Lyon tries to shake her awake.]

[She groans and shakes her head a bit]

Lyon... Did Miakis dump water on me in bed?

No, this is much worse than one of Miakis' pranks! There's an exact copy of you running around town bearing the Sun Rune. She's unconscious in your bedroom right now. Do you know of a way to remove the Rune? We need to do something fast before she wakes up again.

Uh... But the Sun rune is still in the basement I think.

I don't know how to remove it without killing.

[Lyon frowns.]

And it has to be the real thing. She had the same symbol on her forehead as your mother did, and I saw her use it to strike down a drone from the sky.
